Festivities
Our prehispanic heritage and the spanish contribution made a melting pot, where habits changed to traditions and gave us people with a great culture, which is shown by a lot of festivities.
The festivities are related to the vespers, celebrations, and the eighth day of week. In addition celebrations by November 1st, the representation of viacrucis, between others. In the organization of each one of them a group of neighbors takes part like “administrator” during one year.

 | Mole Fair With the purpose of promoting one of products characteristic of the town of San Pedro ATOCPAN, the Mole National fair is organized since 1977 in the community during the month of October. During the fair visitors find a lot of meals elaborated with different types of mole like: poblano, green, pipian and marinated accompanied of meat of turkey or chicken, rice, beans and tamales of beans. Enjoy it in the Restaurant "the Casseroles" located in Av. Hidalgo no. 68, in the downtown of San Pedro ATOCPAN.
Artistic and sport cultural events are included in the fair, and above all, the rodeo, games and popular dances.

 | The Weddings One of the popular tradition is the request of the fiancee and the marriages. the family of the fiancé takes fruits, drinks and gifts to the fiancée house, where they will decide the date of the marriage and ask for the compliance of her father . In this place, families will eat and dance all night.
